…A Destination Wedding Videographer in Austria — But That’s Only Part of the Story

I’m Vicky, a destination wedding videographer in Austria creating documentary wedding films for couples who care more about genuine moments than perfectly posed ones. Based in Austria and travelling across Europe, I tell stories that feel honest, nostalgic and deeply personal.
My couples aren’t looking for a movie set. They want to laugh until their cheeks hurt, hug their favourite people, dance barefoot at midnight and remember exactly how it all felt years from now. That’s the kind of wedding film I create.
Whether your wedding is in Austria, Mallorca, Italy or somewhere completely unexpected, my goal is always the same: to document your day without interrupting it, while creating a film that feels timeless.

WHO AM I?

a wife, a mum, a horse girl, and a travel addict who’s happiest somewhere between the mountains, the ocean, and the dance floor.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the people we become are shaped by the places we’ve been, the music we love, the people we surround ourselves with, and the dreams we keep chasing.

CHEMISTRY MATTERS—ESPECIALLY WHEN I’M AROUND FOR ONE OF THE BIGGEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.

A little more personal

Behind every wedding film is a real person. Here’s a little more about me outside of weddings and cameras.

-Horse girl. And yes, I photograph them too.
-Wife and mum of two.
-Easily bored, endlessly curious.
-Usually looking for my phone, my keys… or whatever I just had in my hand.
-Concert tickets are my favorite form of self-care.
-Slightly obsessed with old cameras, camcorders, and anything nostalgic.
-Always planning the next trip, even before I’ve unpacked from the last one.
-One of my biggest dreams is to use my work to support projects that empower women to build independent futures through photography & videography.
-Usually have about 27 new ideas before breakfast.

QUESTIONS

What I love most is that this job combines so many things I’m passionate about: connecting with people, being part of an incredibly supportive and international community of fellow creatives, expressing my creativity, and having the privilege of witnessing and preserving the stories of amazing couples, again and again. I honestly can’t imagine a better fit for me.

Quite a different world! Before weddings found me, I studied Health Care Economics and spent more than 15 years working in innovation, strategy and digital transformation, helping organisations think differently and bring new ideas to life. That experience shaped the way I see the world—and it still influences the way I run my business today. I genuinely love finding the sweet spot where creativity meets strategy, and I’m always thinking about new ways to connect the two. If you ever stumble across my LinkedIn profile, you’ll probably wonder if it’s the same person. It kind of is—and it kind of isn’t. Looking back, storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do. Today, I just tell stories with a camera instead of PowerPoint

Fun. Especially if it involves my family or friends. I’m incredibly spontaneous, and if my calendar allows it, I’m usually the first one to say, “Let’s do it.”

The ones who care more about making memories than creating a perfect Pinterest wedding. Couples who laugh a lot, hug their people often, love a good adventure and aren’t afraid to be themselves. If you value experiences over perfection, we’ll probably get along really well.

I’m probably just as excited about your wedding as you are. I genuinely care about the people I work with, and I want your experience to feel relaxed from the first email to the final film. By the end of the day, I hope it feels like you’ve had a friend with a camera by your side.

Honestly, everything. I don’t think inspiration is something you have to go looking for—it just happens. A conversation, a new place, the way the light falls through a window, a song in the car, people watching at an airport. The more life I experience, the more inspired I feel.
